About our water This water comes from a well about 100m below the ground’s surface, just before reaching Lake Ashi, where rainfall from Mt.Komagatake on Hakone’s inner ring mountains seeps into the ground and passes through many layers of strata. The water is blended from four deep wells and purified with chlorine. The water is classified as soft at 37 mg/ℓ and is slightly alkaline with a pH of 7.6.
