Thoughts on joining the Yosebito Project
The Old Tokaido Way in Hakone has an inn culture that warmly welcomes travelers. Hakone is also magnificently rich in nature, created by volcanic activity.
This project aims to communicate the charm and beauty of Hakone and the Old
Tokaido Way. By providing water supply with a welcoming atmosphere, we hope your trip will become even more memorable. We wish that this new way of
traveling, to value the nature and culture of the destination, will take root and those who visit and reside in Hakone will cherish this place even more. It would
be wonderful if this were to happen.

About Water
The source of this water is a well where the water comes from roughly 60 meters below, just before it reaches the Sukumo River, a tributary of the Hayakawa River, where rainfall from Mt. Shirogane in the outer rim of Hakone soaks into the ground.
This water source, located close to the Sukumo River, is in a rocky vein where layers of bedrock have been layered due to ancient volcanic activity.
The water that seeps out from the crevices of the rocks has a refined and clean taste.
The water is classified as soft at 40 mg/ℓ and alkaline
with a pH of 7.4.
